Description:
This late 1870's yellow label two piece half split box is the first variation without text in the cartridge cut. Label shows light soiling with a chip out of top right corner showing a green label below. Box remains solid and contains 13 correct rounds with raised H headstamp. This scarce box is listed as a rarity-5 (less than ten known to exist) in R. Rains Winchester two=piece 22 boxes on page 15 and 16. This is listed in the Dunn upgrades as WRA-2-S-4-A.
