Rare!!! Collectors Welcome!!! Antique Prior WWI Period -1920th GERMAN snipe rifle scope Voigtländer/Braunschweig SKOPAR B with 3X magnification . I bought this scope in Germany from somebody who found it on attic. Scope was rusty and dirty inside with broken reticle. Scope was cleaned from rust and old paint, than polished and hand made re-bluing. After this I send scope to ABO USA optic service company to make maintenance and install new reticle with frame, add spacer between eyepice tube lenses. Elevation adjustment and focusing work excellent now. Lenses was cleaned inside and outside,in excellent condition without damages or cracks. Sharp View.Very rare scope I think was made between 1900-1925. Company Voigtländer from Braunschweig produced rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting,huntig rifles.With the onset of the war, Voigtländer/Braunschweig scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. All Voigtländer /Braunschweig scopes are scarce in the USA. On last pictures you can see my expenses with ABO USA company, so please don't ask for discount. Rifle scope don't have any # and names on body, I think was made in Voigtländer Co. custom shop or made after 1918-1930th Versal pact Germany did not have rights to make military ammunition. Reticle German #1 Magnification 3 X Length 289 mm or 11.35 inches Main tube diameter 24.50 mm Eye tube diameter 38 mm Weight 422 g or 14.9 ounces Excellent scope for Gewehr 98, drilling, sporting and side by side collectible rifles.
