Description:
This custom sporting rifle was built on a military Mauser 98 action and has the thumb cut. The nicely figured walnut stock has a contrasting wood forend tip and a shadowline cheekpiece. A checkered steel grip cap compliments the fleur-de-lis checkering and oil finish. The bolt, extractor, and follower are jeweled and the bolt handle is checkered. The bottom metal has a hinged floorplate. A beaded front sight sits atop a checkered front sight base and is paired with an adjustable Williams rear. Scoped with the included Leupold VX-3, this rifle would be a nice companion in the field.
