Description:
S# 416216, 303 British, 28 inch barrel, very good bore with strong rifling and dark grooves. This 1925 manufactured rifle looks great with about 80-85% blue on barrel with worn areas and some spots of oxidation staining and light pitting. Lever and receiver have flaked with 10% blue in protected areas and now have a grey/brown patina. Mag Box shows 90% blue on left side with 25% on right. Wood is sound with a few deep scratches and many light marks, a little extra oil was wiped on long ago. We have fired this rifle, five rounds shot into 1 1/2 inches at 50 yards. barrel has a small importers stamp by forend tip. FFL or C+R
