.45 S&W, 7" Barrel, SN# 5578, MFG in 1876-77. Bore is Good, Strong Rifling, with Very Light Pitting. This is the 2nd Model, Standard, which means it was the Military Model. All Stampings and Serial Numbers are Correct. Patent Date: 71 & 73, Grip Stamped U.S. Overall a very fine example of a Limited Number SCHOFIELD.
