This is a great opportunity for the person that is looking for a fine, inexpensive camp gun or plinker. The finish is at least 94-95% original factory blue. The bulk of the wear is on the muzzle area with some small areas of flaking and some minor surface scratches. All parts are correct and function properly. The gun locks up tight and indexes properly. The gun appears to have seen very little use. This pre-war model still has the early full wrap around walnut grips which show very little wear except for one small scratch on the rear. The gun features fully adjustable front and rear sights. The bore while being bright, sharp and crisp does have a small ring. I have tested it on the range and as was expected it had no effect on it's proper function or accuracy. However because of this slight flaw the gun is priced at about half it's current market value.
