The Browning Challenger Model was made from 1962 to 1975. These pistols were made in Belgium and were fitted with a 4 1/2 or 6 3/4 inch barrel, checkered walnut or plastic wraparound grips, gold plated trigger, adjustable rear sight, all steel construction, and were chambered in .22 LR. This 1962 vintage Challenger Model is as desgribed and is fitted with a 4 1/2 inch barrel and checkered walnut wraparound grips. It retains about 99%+ of its original high polish blue finish, with only some very minor thinning at the muzzle and a few very minor handling marks. The grips are in excellent condition with some flaking on the butt of the grips. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action functions as new. It has been fired, but appears to have been very little. An attractive Belgian manufactured Challenger Model, hard to find in this condition. PRICE: $850 2% discount for cash or check payment.
