Description:
Remington Rolling Block Number 2 sporting rifle in 38-40. Rifle features a 28 inch octagonal light weight barrel with a clear Remington Arms, Ilion, NY address and a clear 38WCF marking on the bottom. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Serial number is 3814X. Front sight is a Beeches #5 combination sight. Wood is overall excellent with light handling marks from light use. It was professionally restored about 20 years ago by Perry Mittlestadt of Colorado. Blue is excellent case colors on the receiver and butt plate are excellent.
