Purdey Sidelock Ejector Pigeon 2 Barrel Set Ken Hunt Engraved, circa 1967, 12 bore, 2 3/4" chambers, original fluid steel 28" and 30" nitro proved chopperlump barrels and proved 3 1/4 Tons, vent ribs engraved "J. Purdey & Sons, Audley House, South Audley Street, London, England", choked .020 Mod. and .043 Extra Full (28"), .021 Mod. and .040 Extra Full (30"), highly figured stock with 14 1/4" LOP over a 3/4" pad, 1 3/8" DAC, 1 5/8" DAH, neutral cast, beavertail forend, pistol grip, single selective trigger, drop points, horn grip cap, rolled edge trigger guard, 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 7 lbs. 10 oz. respectively, self-opening action Kent Hunt engraved with heavy acanthus and floral pattern along with game scenes, left side a meadow scene of either Gambel or California quail, right side a farmland scene of pheasant, and the bottom of the action a vignette of a pigeon in flight, both sides of action also engraved  with "J. Purdey & Sons" and "London, England", both sides of action signed "K.C. Hunt", ejectors, non-automatic safety with "Safe" in gold, disc set strikers, side clips, cocking indicators, front and mid ivory beads, initials inlaid in bottom of stock in lieu of oval. All in original Purdey oak and leather case with maker's label and charge card, with canvas and leather case cover, with accessories including: rosewood cleaning rod, cleaning attachments, Purdey snap caps, Purdey oil bottle, turn screws, striker remover, case keys, case and cover with original owners initials.  Excellent, little used condition with a couple of minor handling marks and one mid bead damaged.
