Holland & Holland Royal Deluxe, As new condition, the very best quality gun from this famed London maker, 12 bore, 2 3/4" chambers, 3 1/4 ton nitro proof, 26" barrels choked .012 IC and .017 Lt. Mod., 15" LOP to a checkered butt, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH, 1/8" cast off for RH shooter, 6 lbs. 5 oz., self-opener, ejectors, gold line cocking indicators, single trigger, straight grip, splinter forend, absolutely beautiful deep cut leaf floral and game scene engraving with pheasants on the right, grouse on the left, and woodcock on the bottom, all three game scenes are signed with initials "DOB" (Danny O'Brien), hand detachable locks, highly figured walnut, this gun was finished according to serial number records in early 1990. Has seen extremly little use and remains in as new, mint condition. Comes in a maker's leather case with all Holland accessories most of which are still wrapped in paper as delivered including: cleaning rod, Holland oil bottle, striker box, Holland snap caps, brush/jag/mop, case keys, Holland patches, Holland oil tin, and two spare strikers. These guns sell for $140,000 new making this is a great investment at $67,500. The engraver, Danny O'Brien, apprenticed at Purdey's with Ken Hunt and worked for Purdey for 20 years until going freelance, he has engraved for Holland, Boss, Wilkes, and Westley Richards and is featured in the book "British Gun Engraving".
