Description:
Lay-a-way to own, this very hard to find 1923 A.H. Fox HE Grade Super Fox 3" 12 gauge (serial# 29412) with 30 inch "0" weight barrels choked full & x-full in very good condition. This big Fox SxS has very good bluing overall, with no dings or dents in the barrels. The top rib has no scratches or nicks. A good amount of case color remains on the receiver sides, bottom and top. Lock up is super tight and the top lever is to the right. The checkering on the straight stock and forearm are very good with a chip missing right behind the top tang, but it is very small. The bores are bright and shiney and are over-bored like most every Super Fox and this one measures .742 in both barrels. The right barrel measures at approximately .040 choke constriction and the left at .045 constriction by my measurements. The ejectors work with authority and throw two heavy A-Zoom snap caps halfway across the room. The stock has a LOP of 14 1/8" and the DAH is 2 3/8". This Super weighs in at approximately 9 lb 7 oz. The owner of this Super Fox did get a copy of the factory stock card, picture of which is shown below. If you have been waiting for that special Fox for your collection or hunting enjoyment, this sought after double will fit both needs very well. $120 SH&I to most of the lower 48.
