Description:
S# 133231*, 38 S&W, 6 inch barrel, fair bore with strong rifling, even light pitting and a ring/bulge 3 inches from muzzle. This interesting revolver was built between 1898 and 1907, gun shows a factory rework star by serial number with rework date of "7-13" under left grip. Gun was completely renickeled at a later date over pitting and polishing marks and now retains 75% nickel with dark patina in areas of loss, cylinder, latch and frame have matching numbers, right grip is scratched "1444", The grip safety pin is a replacement.
