Description:
S# 15844, 44 rimfire, 24 inch octagon barrel, good bore. This stripped frame and barrel were cleaned to bright with scattered areas of pitting, scratches and dings. The front sight is still present. Barrel markings remain legible, frame markings are lighter and only partially readable. These sporting rifles were built in very small numbers from 1862 to 1865. Antique.
