Description:
This partial (17 original rounds) two piece box remains in very good condition with stains, light soiling and some scuffing on label. Hobbs' patent of 1869 is called out on label as well as central fire and 45 calibre indicating late 1870s production. Bottom half of box shows an early guarantee with company autograph and an old price (75 cents) in pencil. Ammo has a few light stains, several bullets are slightly misshapen.
