Description:
Serial #7001, .38 RF, 2 3/8” octagon barrel with a very good, bright bore that has some mild pitting and freckling in spots along its length. This is a handsome little gun that has all matching numbers (including the small ejector pin) and retains 95-97% of the original nickel finish that has a slightly frosted appearance and some very mild flaking along few of the edges and projections. The cylinder shows drag lines and some finish lose on the edge and 3 small lines that stretch across from front to back. The hammer has some bright original color case-hardening remaining and the rosewood grips (numbered to the gun on the interior) are likewise in fine shape with some flaking of the original varnish and some scattered handling marks and blemishes. This is a great looking little F&W “Bull Dog” that has lots of original finish left and is in excellent condition overall. The action works quite well. Antique
