LIKE NEW UN-ISSUED Remington - Rand 1911-A1 made in 1945 the last batch of the Military contract for WW2, (ONLY TWO OWNERS), the first owner fired half a box of ammo through this but don't know how big a box? Could have been a box of 20 or at best a box of 50 of GI ammo, I have been told? This is NOT a Arsenal rework, it is UN-issued sold to the NRA and distributed through the DCM, SOLD TO FIRST OWNER IN 1962 for $17.00, as you can see in the pictures ALL the paper work and box. One magazine is still wrapped, the other shows a letter "G" stamped on the top front of the magazine floor plate. This is completely UN-touched and just like the day it was made. And the original shipping box and papers (NOT A FAKE), truly a very desirable collector item! FLAT RATE of $85 INSURED SHIPPING to the Cont. US only.
