Description:
This is an early production deringer, serial numbered 1229. It does not have the words "Manufactured by" preceeding "E. Remington 7 Sons" on the right side of the barrels, but also, does not have na extractor. Therefore, we believe it to have been made in 1866 and to be one of the first 2000 manufactured. While mostly a patina gray in color, the barrel and hammer do retain traces of bright blue. The bore is only fair, but hinges are both good and are not cracked.
