Description:
This is a Winchester, Model 1866 Golden Boy Rifle, in center Fire, caliber 44 Henry ( 44-40 ) with a 24" round barrel, full magazine and crescent butt with trap door. Serial Number is 133253, date of Mfg. is 1877 and it letters with BBHC, ( Cody Museum). The metal is in good condition. The bore is decent for the rifle's age and the wood is very good, having been refinished some 30-50 years ago. The stock is numbered to the serial number as it should be, There are some minor dings on the magazine, however overall, the gun functions well and is in 60-70% condition. I believe that the serial number places this rifle into the third model area.
