Description:
A scarce Stevens last patent date 1884, long barrel tip up target rifle, with a heavy half round /octagonal barrel with a rifled bore with patches of corrosion and some pitting. Should spin a bullet okay though. The muzzle measures about .38 caliber so it may be Colt 38 long. I'll try some old ammo I have. The barrel is about all blue, and the steel frame had nickle plating at one time now fading and has spots of recent corrosiones with a front hooded sight and a rear flip-up tang peep sight. The rear sight dovetail is empty. The American walnut wood has much of it's original finish with age staining and a couple field dings. This large frame model has an iron crescent butt-plate. The action works good and would make a good vintage shooter. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
