I inherited this N.Lewis Civil War Sharpshooters rifle from my grandmother Bragg..her uncle was Confederate Gen'l Braxton Bragg......this is believed from his estate and is stamped Co.B on the bottom of stock.. It is in worn/used condition.It functions but is rusty as shown incl. bore. Original scope mounts/wood furniture etc. The long scope was removed ages ago it appears as a diopter style sight has replaced the sniper scope. The Barrel is Octagon and 29-1/2in long...It is wide at 1-1/4in across. The markings are present but somewhat rusty. The gun functions well. It weighs 16+lbs. due to style of rifle's intended purpose. It is a Civil War relic....obviously it has seen MUCH use and as a result og its age/used status it is sold AS-IS. S&H=$50.oo ConUSA/Foreign shipping at buyers expense along with shipping receiving arrangements..payment in US currency. All questions answered..NOTE...This is aslo offered elsewhere..This IS the RealDeal..I doubt you will find another at this fantastic price...My DNA has confirmed my ancestry to the General..!
