Description:
Thad Scott Elite SxS Boxlock Ejector ~ Made in Italy 28 Gauge. Maker unknown but imported by Thad Scott Fine Guns, Indianola MS. The boxlock receiver is nicely engraved with floral bouquets and scroll work, and there is a banner on the bottom with "ELITE" stamped within. The water-tables on barrels are stamped with a sheild, two stars, the letters AL and PSF FINITO (which are Italian Nitro Proofs) and the serial number 18524. The scroll engraving on the boxlock receiver is quite extensive on the bottom and cheeks but a bit less on the sides and top tang. For a quality built Italian made shotgun suprisingly there is no maker's name stamped anywhere on the metal. The shotgun features 26" barrels, choked improved cylinder and improved modified; ejectors, single trigger, thumb actuated safety; checkered strait grip walnut stock and forend with push button release; black recoil pad and stock measurements of 14" LOP, 1 1/2" DAC & 2 1/2" DAH, and weighs 6 Lbs. 4 oz.
