Description:
The last of the single shot martial pistols, this Model 1871 Remington rolling block is chambered .50 CF with an 8 inch barrel. Approximately 5,000 were purchased by the U.S. Government and have a inspectors cartouche on the left grip, "CRS", for Curtis R. Slicknet. This gun is 100% original and retains 80% plus original blue on the barrel and about 50% vivid color case-hardening on the receiver. The bore is absolutely perfect and the walnut grips show use, but only minor wear. PRICE: $1,595 2% discount for cash or check payment.
