#405417, A Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Rebarreled & Chambered to a 280 Ackley Improved, The action was made in 1957, 24" Stainless Steel barrel without open sights, The barrel is by Turbo Specialties from Odessa, Texas and it is accurate, 1 in 11 twist, Standard Pre-64 3 position Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Standard Model 70 floorplate and trigger guard, Leupold type scope bases, Model 70 Pre-64 stock, Glass bedded, Sling eyes on the stock, 13 1/2" lop over a 1" pad, 8 lbs. 4 oz. as is, The bore is excellent, Original factory blue on the action and it remains at 85%, Original factory stock finish and it remains at 80%, The checkering is at 92%. The piece is accurate with 140 grain bullets and shoots the Nosler partition into 1" at 100 yards. Turbo Specialties builds a rifle action for benchrest shooting and they are highly thought of.
