#229285, A Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Rebarreled & Chambered to a 300 H&H, The action was made in 1952, 26" Stainless Steel barrel without open sights, The barrel is by Lilja Precision Rifle Barrels, Inc. in Plains, Montana, Standard Pre-64 3 position Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Standard Model 70 floorplate and trigger guard, Leupold type scope bases, It has a Winston Elrod full custom laminated stock that was made as a spare for one of his full custom rifles, Very nice wrap around Elrod checkering, 2 screw sling eyes, Ebony forend tip, Shadowline cheekpiece, Steel grip cap, After this stock was fit to this barreled action it was glass bedded, 14" lop over a 7/8" pad, 8 lbs. 11 oz. as is, The bore is excellent, Original factory blue on the action and it remains at 88%, The Elrod stock finish remains at 96%, The checkering is at 100%, There is 3 drilled screw holes on the left receiver rail for a previous scope mount.
