Description:
S# 826056, .32 WS, 26 inch barrel, good bore with worn rifling, lighly frosted throughout. This 1918 MFG rifle features a half octagon barrel. The mag tube retains 80% blue, all other metal shows a grey patina with scattered dark staining. Barrel is importer marked on lower left side at transition to round. Rear sight elevator is ground off flat above third notch. Wood wears added finish over dings and scratches. A splinter is missing behind frame on each side,forearm has three deep gouges in bottom. Front sight is a Marble's No 3 bone bead. This is a nice old rifle that has been well used, it may have a replaced mag tube. A great gun for over the fireplace or for the collector. FFL or C&R
