Description:
MK I helmet built by General Steel Works and marked "GSW MK 1 J over 1941". In excellent original condition with the exception of some missing material on the chinstrap, this piece was originally sourced out of St. John, New Brunswick. This piece was probably an Officer's helmet, it is mounted with a crossed Saint John Fusiliers machine gun badge and a "Canada" shoulder badge; the Fusiliers was a machine gun unit during the War.
