Description:
WWII pair of Russian binoculars. The only markings are on the prism housing. The only markings are the Soviet star, the communist mark and number. The right housing has a ranging scale. The exterior shows leatherette cover, the left ocular shows edge chips with a small crack on the right it is also free spinning. It would appear that this pair is a copy of U.S. military stereo binoculars but most likely Soviet built. Not a common WWII item. For the Russian collector. **Soviet manufacturer GOMZ, the State Optical-Mechanical Plant. This plant operated near Leningrad since 1932 and was one of the oldest optical factories in the USSR. the serial number is believed to indicate by the first two digits after the "N" that they were made in 1941.
