Someone applied checkering over stock and forend damage to this shotgun in order to minimize the appearance of the damage, Although tastefully executed, it is still of advanced amatuer quality.

Metal Condition: Barrels retain approximately 65% of original bluing with balance a gray/brown patina. All case coloring has been worn off the receiver surfaces. All receiver screws have been turned and right side lock screw is out of time.
Wood Condition: It appears that both the stock and forend were damaged at some point and the hand checkering was applied over the damaged areas to camoflage the condition. The forend still shows a split in the area of the damage (left side front), and the stock itself s
Bore Condition: Bright bores, right barrel has some light pitting forward of the forcing cone. Both barrels show repaired dents in bores.
Barrels: 28" Trojan Steel Barrels are "dead" - do not ring
