Description:
The Savage bolt actions were a very sturdy gun. This one is in 22 LR. Its a good thing they were sturdy since this one has seen some use. Salt and pepper finish on the bbl. From salt water? All the markings are good but most finish is gone. Towards the receiver it is an aged brown patina. What is quite surprising is the bore which is VG. The stock is also quite good with some linseed oil added years ago. Orig magazine. A good gun to have in the barn or on the porch in case a skunk stumbles by.
