#3547 Colt 3.5” Round Barrel Conversion 38 Centerfire
This is a Colt 3.5” Round Barrel Conversion of the Colt 1849 Pocket to a 5 shot 38 centerfire single action revolver. The serial number is 314307 and it is all matching numbers. The mechanical function is very good and tight. The bore is good plus to very good with strong rifling and a frosted bore. Traces of blue in the protected areas and no rust or pitting. The grips retain 80% varnish and the cylinder retains 80% cylinder scene. This has the 1871, 1872 Colt patent dates on the frame. The markings are all sharp and crisp and would make a nice cowboy shooter.
