Description:
28 ga pinfire. Quite a unique unit. It has a 20-3/4" bbl when all together. Part of the bbl can be unscrewed to make the bbl length 5-1/2". An even odder thing about this gun is the skeleton wire stock that fixes to the gun as a shoulder stock. In the day when this was made people were shorter but the LOP with the stock is at 17-1/2" which is ridiculously long. With all the parts and doodads that comes off of this thing the gun in its stripped down form is just over 10". With all parts and pieces assembled the gun is at 40-1/2" long. Metal has been cleaned and is silver. Has not been over cleaned and the French proof marks on the bbl are visible. All the engraving on the frame is still there. The trigger guard and other areas still show engraving. Overall metal cond is VG and surprising the pistol grip stock is also VG cond. Some age shrinkage towards the frame but everything else is VG. We have had some unique strange items in the shop and this one ranks right up there. A great conversation starter!
