Description:
A Winchester model 1892 with a SN 4878, first year production with an octagonal barrel of 24" , with good front and rear sights. Action works good, and the American walnut wood is strong with some wear, and the butt-stock has a chip up near the breech left side and the top tang where they meet. The Butt-stock has aggressive burl grain in this area The top tang has a taped hole possibly for a tang peep sight, not present. Has the correct crescent butt-plate. All metal parts were blued , and the right side of the frame flat still has freckles under the blue. Still has strong barrel address and the .32 W.C.F marking bear the breech. Bore has strong rifling and patches of roughness from the bad ammo used before smokeless powder.Over all an interesting old Winchester. Hope to gind a good home for this gun, and it will be appreciated. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
