Description:
This is a Remington Model 513-S "The Match Master" sporter rifle in .22LR. The 513 model was manufactured by Remington Arms from 1940-1968, in both target and sporter variants for both civilian and military markets. The 'S' variant was the medium-weight sporter with detachable magazine and lacks the mounting block on the receiver for a rear aperture sight.Condition: Metal is very good to excellent on the barrel and receiver, no dents or dings and bluing is complete; the bolt and trigger show case coloring, with most of the color worn off the bolt handle and knob; only good condition on the magazine well and trigger guard due to some light freckling in the finish; the checkered metal buttplate is in very good condition; Wood is straight-grained without cracks, chips or heavy scratches; there are a few small dents in the stock and some lighter areas of stain color due to handling, but overall the wood condition is at least very good.
