Description:
A very nice leather and brass game marker. These are used in the grouse butts to mark fallen birds. I use one for duck hunting in a marsh, or for dove hunting. Very useful when the shooting is fast and you do not have time to pick up each bird as it falls, Just put an X for dead birds and an O for others. A compass in the center lets you accurately mark all of your fallen birds, also has yardage and quadrant. This is a real time and lost bird saver. Very helpful whether you have a retriever or not. Has a marker with removable ink attached to the leather. Measures 4 inches by 4 inches, so it fits in your pocket or kit. Difficult to find item, but very useful.
