The Smith & Wesson .38 Safety Hammerless 4th Model were produced from 1898 until 1907 in the 116,000 to 220,000 serial number range. This one is Serial Number 200,239 which would make this modern but C&R eligible. 99% of the original Nickel is still here. 3 1/4" barrel. Grips are as new. Bore is bright. Gun has never been fired.
