Description:
S# K552 , .25 Stevens rimfire, 22 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling and scattered areas of erosion. This Stevens favorite was probably built in the 1910 to 1915 period and it remains in very good condition with about 30% case colors visible under a brown patina on frame and lever. The barrel shows 50% blue fading to a brown patina with oxidation specks and stains. Wood looks great with typical marks from use. Butplate is a modern replacement. A nice example of a late third type favorite with barrel markings moved to right side to make room for the adjustable rear sight. FFL or C+R
