Description:
Ruger #3 custom using a pre-warning barreled action, full length mannlicher style stock, steel forend cap, left hand cheek piece. This rifle is in near mint condition with blue at 95% due to one blemish on receiver from handling (pictured). The wood is free of blemishes. LOP is 14". Original barrel is 22". Over all lenght is 38.75". Weight is 7.9 lbs.
The stock has no cast so you could remove the cheek piece if right handed. It is a dark stock with tight grain with excellent layout. I have not been able to determine the type of wood and my stock maker thought it could be Bastone, French or Rosewood.
An excellent hunting rifle. No sales to California.
