.450- 3 1/4" express caliber, 33" barrel marked "METFORD 1611 GEORGE GIBBS, 39 CORN STREET, BRISTOL". Case hardened falling block Farquharson action with maker's name engraved on the left side. Full length walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a checkered steel buttplate. Special military ladder sight with spirit level. In fabulous original condition with the barrel retaining all of the original blue, lovely case colors and mint bore. Excellent figured wood and crisp checkering. Very Very rare.
