SOLD A fine and all original Pre-64 Model 70 Winchester rifle chambered in 22 Hornet. Rifle is in the 224xxx serial range 1952 production remaining in 98%+ condition. Excellent mirror bore...rifle looks like it could have just came out of the box...matching bolt. K6 Weaver scope from El Paso TX with 1952 period high polish blued Redfield rings and 1 piece bridge mount...everything remains in excellent original and high condition. The K6 scope, rings and base retain 100% of their original high polish blued finish. Only the slightest blue wear on high edges of the muzzle, action and the bolt knob. Period Boyt military style leather sling. Original American Walnut stock remains in 98%+ with fine sharp checkering and the original blued steel checkered butt plate, no dings or dents in the stock. The bolt is numbered to the rifle and the high polish blued extractor retains all of its original blue finish also. This Hornet was shot very little, put away and well taken care of over the last 63 years. This 22 Hornet would be hard to upgrade. A fine investment grade Pre-64 Model 70 Rifle in the desirable 22 Hornet chambering. USPS priority mail shipped in a new plastic hardcase and boxed 60.00
