Offered for your consideration is this nice early type 99 Arisaka short rifle in 7.7mm with full mum, anti-aircraft sight w/wings, and dust cover.The chrome lined bore is bright with deep rifling. The metal is original blue with light patina and a few small areas of light surface rust. There is no cleaning rod. The mum is perfect and there are no import marks.The stock is very good with nice original finish. There are 2 names lightly scratched into the right side of the butt. someone has also made a small cut out in the stock for a turned down bolt handle. The bolt has all matching numbers but they do not match the rifle's serial number. The bayonet lug number matches the rifle serial number but I did not dissassemble the gun to check other numbers. Here is a chance own an original WW-II military rifle for a very low price.
An original cleaning rod with Kanje markings that is correct for this rifle is avaiable for an additional $50.00 including shipping with rifle purchase. This is not an aftermarket rod.
