Description:
This is a Winchester Model 12 in 20 gauge, made in Japan. The butt of the stock is damaged, but otherwise this shotgun is in very nice condition. The 26" barrel wears a Factory Vent Rib and is choked Improved Cylinder, a solid choice for an upland hunter who wants to carry a classic gun to the field!Condition: Metal is very good, but with some light scratches on the left receiver and light wear on the magazine tube; bluing is still rich and deep with little loss overall; rib is not bent; metal grip cap is excellent, no dents; Wood is also very good, beautiful figure and grain with a few handling marks and one heavier scratch on the forestock; checkering is sharp and crisp; no cracks; The obvious defect is a chip on the toe of the stock and a larger chip on the buttplate, both of which could be easily repaired.
