Description:
A rare early Iver Johnson self cocking safety model 2X, with a 24"barrel with strong rifling , with some patches of frosting. The finish on the metal is smooth dark color where the blue has started to turn to a brown color. The American walnut wood is clean but was refinished and has an area near the steel butt-plate of surface staining. Action is smooth. This model , when the bolt is cocked back, the cocking knob pushes up, and the gun is ready to fire when the bolt is in battery. The trigger is pushed, and bolt cocking knob comes down horizontal, and releases the firing pin forward. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
