COLT MODEL 1877 LIGHTNING .38COLT DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. Serial number "1657XX", Circa 1909. Professionally refinished overall with nickel enhancements. Excellent screws. 4 1/2" barrel with good rifling and chambers. Original hard rubber Colt hard rubber grips excellent with no cracks or loss. Cycles and indexes but does not drop hammer which is typical in the Lightnings(needs repair). Patent dates on frame visible as are serial numbers. Affordable fixer upper for cowboy action shooting or collection example.
