Description:
A rare Danish Krag Engineers rifle with a 24" barrel and very good bore chambered for the 8x58R MM shell. The metal through out is arsenal finished now starting to fade, and no rust is present. Action works very well, and is smooth. SN 18396 Matching numbers on the barrel and receiver , and the bolt has number 34, and 396. Overall measurement is about 43" long.Bolt has the 1920 conversion, and the 1910 safety. The European walnut wood is clean with numerous field dings but nothing serious, Marked M86 and receiver is dated 1891.Stock is numbered to the gun. Steel butt-plate has patches of corrosion and pitting. Rear sight has the ladder that looks like the Swedish type with grades up to: 2200 meters. This fine gun rarely seen in this country. And the ammo can still be gotten and is as potent as the 8mm Mauser!We don’t have a web site .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
