Description:
This model 1886 is in fairly good condition, especially for being manufactured in 1890. The receiver has various handling marks and scratches along with some pitting and patina. The barrel seems to be in slightly better condition than the receiver, with fewer marks. The edges of the barrel are fairly worn down and there is still some pitting and patina. The stock and the fore end have quite a few handling marks. The stock has a couple of minor cracks on either side, and both are just below the hammer. The fore end doesn't appear to have any cracks visible. The bore has quite a bit of pitting which is heavier about halfway down the barrel and tapers off near the muzzle and the receiver. The rifling is still very visible.
