Description:
This is a Sako AV long action chambered in 338 Win Mag. It was made in 1986, and is presently bedded in a McMillan stock. The rifle shoots sub-MOA with Nosler 210 Partitions, and has taken Caribou, Moose, Black Bear, Mule Deer, Whitetails, and Antelope.
The build quality of these earlier Sako rifles is readily apparent, with smooth bolts, high polish metalwork, and great triggers. This rifle has 4 Magnaport slits on the top side of the muzzle to tame recoil and muzzle jump without increasing noice.
This rifle can be purchased in the McMillan stock with Sako 1" bases and rings, or with the original stock, or with both stocks and a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8x36 that's been mounted on the rifle since new.
