Smith & Wesson, semi-automatic pistol, Model 39, caliber 9mm, s/n 5334 (Mfg. 1955), 4: barrel, alloy frame, original blue in 95% condtion except for front 2" of right side of slide which is moderately pitted, rear sight adjustable for windage, BORE EXCELLENT, factory two-piece checkered Walnut grips w/ S&W medallian in EXCELLENT conditoin, cased in non-factory simulated leather covered wooden case with corduroy lining, very early example of up to 120,000 Model 39's mfg., long extractor, long safety, good candidate for having slide restored to increase value, Retail value $600.00, Sale priced at $495.00
