A spectacular early Sako Forester L579 early model with a bull barrel (11/16"diam) of 24" and no front or rear sights, but a top mounted LUEPOLD 10X serial number L108538, optics are very good. The action is smooth and slick, no importers marks on the gun. The European hardwood stock is hand checkered. Comes with a russet red leather sling. Sn on the gun is: 828XX. Made in Finland stamped on the barrel.Rifled Bore is crisp and clean. this gun has the older original hard rubber factory installed butt-plate.. Caliber is the very fast .22-250.
