Here is something really different. Everybody seems to want a good story related to these old guns. I rarely have one – but this time I do. This old S&W 4th model 1905 hand ejector in the desirable 32-20 S&W Winchester - caught my eye in a prominent gun store over thirty years ago. As I examined it – it was apparent at what I was seeing on this very old revolver. It was engraved with what were unmistakably Cannabis plant leaves. I was told it came out of old Mexico and had been the prize revolver of a Mexican drug lord back in the early 20 s. It has a pristine bright shiny bore and is in original nickel finish – about 100%! But the real eye catcher was the high quality carved genuine mother of pearl grips. The right grip has three dimensional high relief carving of a bull’s head complete with Ruby eyes! Perhaps not every collector’s cup of tea but an undeniable conversation piece in extraordinary high original condition. It has been in my safe for over thirty years and never offered for sale.
