Overall very good condition with professionally done bent bolt and action smoothing. Suitable for a sniper rifle conversion. Templates and mounting kits are available on Amazon. Main battle rifle of the Soviet Union in WWII. Arsenal reworked, stored and not reissued. Shoots the inexpensvie and plentiful 762x54R round. Dated 1942. Metal retains over 90% of original bluing with no rust or pitting. Wood is very good and retains original finish with only some minor handling marks and liight dings.
